Oliana is the founder and Director of I AM Yoga.
After a successful career in banking she decided to embark in a journey of self-discovery, with the initial spark coming from reading Hermann Hesse’s Siddhartha, the book that introduced her to the far-eastern philosophy of yoga. Ever since, she has been studying yoga philosophy, meditation, and Kriya Yoga from the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda for over 20 years. These teachings continue to inform her life in every single step.
She founded I AM Yoga in 2013 with the intent of adding value to her life and the lives of those around her. Based on the belief that knowledge ought to be shared, she offers her yoga practice in a fun, informative, and safe way and imparts practical tools of self-care and self-discovery to help in the journey of self-realization.
With a curious mind and innate creativity she approaches life with passion and wonder. She expresses her creativity through painting, drawing and designing spaces that maximize the expression of the inner landscape of their inhabitants.
She is an E-RYT, a Certified Yoga Tune Up® Instructor; Level 1 NeuroKintetic Therapist; NASM Certified Personal Trainer; TRX Suspension Training Certified; and studied Yoga of Sound and Holistic Resonance with Don Conreaux.
Oliana holds a MS in International Relations from The New School.
